He gritted his teeth and endured the pain as he grabbed one of the heavenly thunder fruits before plucking it off the tree.
Boom! Right after Kai plucked the heavenly thunder fruit, he was struck by another bolt of lightning. This time around, Kai was flung away into the distance like a kite with a broken thread and landed heavily on the ground.
“Mr. Chance!” The Three Bandits rushed toward Kai. “Let’s retreat! We need to leave now,” Kai instructed the Three Bandits.
At that point, Kai appeared to be extremely weak. Seeing that, the Three Bandits hurriedly carried Kai and ran toward the other exit.
Meanwhile, the people outside the cave were still resting, and the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk wasn’t attacking anyone. Both parties seemed to be minding their own business. Soon, however, the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk that was resting on a tree suddenly widened its eyes.
It let out a shriek and rose into the air. Jolted in surprise, Cameron immediately got ready to fight the Bloodthirsty Thunderhawk.
