The Almighty Dragon General Chapter 1833

Chapter 1833

Callan looked at James hopefully and asked, “Did you break into the ninth rank?” “Mhm.” James nodded, a hint of a smile on his face.

Thomas, on the other hand, said with a solemn expression, “Something happened.”

“What is it?” James looked at Thomas, puzzled.

Thomas answered, “Thea was taken by members of the Void Sect.”

“What?” James was stunned, and a wave of rage swept through him. He stifled his rage and asked, “What happened? How did Thea get taken by the Void Sect?”

Thomas gave a brief account of everything that had occurred.

“Sky wanted to deal with the Void Sect, but he wasn’t sure he’d be successful. In order to make you deal with the Void Sect, he captured Thea. He intended to use Thea to threaten you. The Callahan family tried calling you, but no one picked up.”

After hearing that, James took out his phone. There were indeed a lot of missed calls, as well as messages from Lex.

Thomas continued, “Maxine came to see me and told me that Sky was going to attack Thea. By the time I rushed over to the Callahans’ villa, Thea had already been taken away. When I hurried over to Tacriyrus and was about to fight Sky, the Prince of Orchid Mountain appeared and defeated Sky. Sky was afraid of the consequences, so he decided to let her go.

“We were going to leave as well after the Prince of Orchid Mountain had left, but the Void Sect showed up.

“Kaj, the senior disciple of the Void Sect, claimed that you defeated a Void Sect disciple, and said that it was a disgrace to the Void Sect. So, they took Thea away and wanted you to go to Mount Bane for a fight after a week.”

Hearing that, James waved his hand casually. The Primordial Dragon Blade immediately flew over from not far away. He held onto the sword and was about to leave.

Thomas grabbed him in time and said, ‘There’s no need to be anxious. The fight is still a few days away.”

“How can I not be anxious?” With a face filled with worry, James said,” Thea is going to give birth soon. If anything happens to her, I…”

With a small wave of his hand, Thomas cut James off and said, ‘The Void Sect only wants to fight you. They promised not to give Thea a hard time and that as long as you arrive on time for the fight, they will let Thea go regardless of the outcome.”

James exhaled a sigh of relief.

Thomas continued, “Lately, the Void Sect has been going around challenging and defeating many martial artists. The Void Sect’s origins are still a mystery. I think you should head over to Mount Jade right now and ask the Omniscient Deity about it. It’s been said that the key to success is to know both your enemy and yourself.”

“Is Mount Bane where the Void Sect and I will fight as promised?”

“Yes.”

“Alright, I’ll go to Mount Jade now and ask the Omniscient Deity where the Void Sect came from. Once I learn more about the Void Sect’s history, I’ll head straight to Mount Bane.”

While holding the Primordial Dragon Blade, James turned around and left the small mountain village.

He was extremely worried about Thea, even though the Void Sect had stated that they would not give Thea a hard time. Thea was going to give birth soon. If something were to happen now, he would be haunted by regret for the rest of his life.

A day later, James appeared at the entrance of the Jade Sect.

In front of the entrance, many disciples were patrolling.

As soon as James appeared, he caught their attention. Once they realized he was James, a Jade Sect disciple came up to him and said with a respectful face, “So it’s Mr. Caden. The Omniscient Deity has already told us that whenever you come to visit, you can go straight to the back mountain to find him.”

“Hm?” James was stunned. He asked, “Did Lord Omniscient know I’d come to visit him?”

The Jade Sect disciple replied, ‘That I wouldn’t know.”

“Many thanks.”

James entered the Jade Sect and continued straight to the Jade Sect’s back mountain.

At the back mountain and in front of a cliff, the Omniscient Deity was sitting on a rock, dressed entirely in white, with a blade of grass between his lips.

“You’re here.” Without even turning his head, he felt James’ presence the moment he arrived.

“Mhm.” James walked over and sat on a rock beside the Omniscient Deity. ‘This time, I’m here to ask you some questions.”

“You know the rules.” The Omniscient Deity gave James a quick glance, then immediately sensed that James’ aura was different from before. He could not help but be surprised and exclaimed, “Y-You broke through?”
