The Three Little Guardian Angels Chapter 1989

Chapter 1989

Daisie was holding a skewer in her hand, she would pull her facial mask down to take a bite every other step, looking like a greedy kitten carefully stealing food from its master.

Noilace looked at her and chuckled adoringly. “It seems like I didn’t feed you enough today. You’ve been eating non-stop ever since you came here.”

Daisie was stumped.

She did not know why, but she felt it was weird when he said he did not feed her enough.

She covered her mouth and mumbled, “It has been a long time since I had a skewer.”

As if she thought of something, she took one out of the bag and said, “Do you want to try one?”

Suddenly, he leaned forward and took a bite from her skewer.

Daisie was stunned, and it took a while before she came around to her senses. “Why did you…”

When she sensed the gaze from the crowd, she hurriedly put on her mask and said, “what are you doing? Do you want US to get caught?”

She did not know why Noilace refused to wear a mask. He had attracted a lot of attention, and many women were staring at his handsome face along the way.

Grinning from ear to ear, he said, “what’s wrong with me eating my wife’s skewer?”

The tips of her ears turned red as she bristled, “stop it! That’s so embarrassing.”

“Don’t you think that woman looks familiar? Isn’t she Daisie?”

“She’s the daughter of the Goldmanns. There’s no way she would come to a place like this. You must be hallucinating.” 1

“But the guy beside her is so handsome. Well, it seems like all of the handsome hunks are taken. I’m so jealous. Do you know that I nearly went forward and asked him for his contact number just now?”

Daisie pulled her hat downward. She had a feeling that she would be busted if she kept staying here, so she grabbed Noilace’s arm and dragged him away from the crowd.

There were fewer pedestrians on the street while they were on their way back.

Daisie turned her head around, took her mask down after ascertaining that no one was following them, and huffed. “I thought I was going to be busted.”

That being said, she was very happy she could come out with Noilace like this.

“Is this a date?”

Nollace walked beside her and replied, “Well, if you think it is, then it is.”

She turned around to face him while walking backward. “I think this is the first time we came out for a walk after so long, right?” 1

Ever since she joined the entertainment industry until she was married to Noilace, they had never shown up in front of the public together.

Noilace stopped walking and fixed his gaze on her face. “I’ll make more time for you in the future.”

It felt like he was giving her a promise, she stopped walking as well and looked at him silently.

The dim light cast on them, and the elongated shadows on the ground overlapped.

The breeze blew by, ruffling his collar and her heart.

Daisie walked two steps forward and stopped in front of him.

“I hope you won’t forget what you said tonight. Remember to make it up for me in the future.”

A laugh escaped from his mouth. The light had covered his eyes and blurred his face. “Don’t worry. I won’t forget about it.”

Daisie pressed her lips tightly and lowered her head. “Yeah, yeah. Who knows if you’ll break your promise or not.”

Nollace suddenly reached out for her and scooped her up from the ground. She wrapped her arm around his neck and asked, “What are you doing?” 1

He smiled. “We’re home.”

She turned her head around and realized that they were already at the entrance of Taylorton.

When she noticed the security guard’s gaze, Daisie buried her face into his neck and pitched her voice low. “Then hurry up and go in! ”

She felt embarrassed being stared at by other people.

Nollace lowered his head to look at her. A smile tugged at the corner of his lips as he carried Daisie back to their house.

The light in the bedroom was switched on, and it showered on the balcony through the curtain veil.
