Billionaire God of War Chapter 1285

Chapter 1285

Ethan brought everyone back to the hotel.

On the way back, Number Five didn’t say anything. He just held Jasmine in his arms and pursed his lips. He didn’t know what to say.

He wasn’t good with words and didn’t know how to say the right things.

The rest didn’t disturb them.

It was best that she was fine. Otherwise, they wouldn’t hesitate to turn the world upside down if they had to!

“Big Boss.”

Diane had already arranged for a room and she was inside talking to Jasmine and comforting her.

Number Five stood outside the door with bloodshot eyes. “Thank you, Big Boss!”

“Number Five, why are you thanking me?” Ethan shook his head. “This is not the end of things, do you understand?”

“Yes, Big Boss!”

Diane pushed the door open and walked out. She nodded at Ethan and turned to Number Five. “Number Five, go in and accompany her. Don’t worry, she’s fine.”

Number Five nodded and turned to look at Kent standing next to Ethan. “Bro, I owe you a favor!”

If Kent and the rest hadn’t helped, there was no way he would have found Jasmine so quickly.

They were unfamiliar with the place, so by the time they found her, goodness knows what would have happened by then!

“You don’t have to, you don’t!” Kent laughed and waved his hands about. “We’re all one family, you don’t have to be so polite.”

Ethan was the one who told Kent to look for Number Five. If anyone owed anyone a favor, Kent was the one who owed Ethan a favor many years ago, and he’d never finish repaying it for the rest of his life.

Number Five didn’t say anymore and went into the room to be with Jasmine.

“You should rest soon.” It was very late at night and Diane had to work the next day, so Ethan told her to get some sleep.

This definitely wasn’t the end of things.

Ethan knew that the Merlyn family’s aim was to destroy Palmer Group’s expansion overseas and they didn’t want to let Palmer Group gain a foothold overseas at all. They tried to attack Palmer Group’s employees, but they were all next to him in the hotel, so they found Jasmine instead.

If Kent didn’t find her in time, Number Five would regret this for life.

Ethan walked out to the lobby with Kent where Brother Geoff and the rest were waiting.

Brother Geoff and the wolves walked over to Kent and he shuddered because he thought they were going to hit him.

“Thank you so much!” said all the wolves in unison.

This wasn’t just a favor to Number Five. It was for all of them.

“You’re welcome! You’re welcome!” Kent quickly returned the formality.

He turned to look at Ethan. He felt rather uneasy and this was the first time someone was so grateful to him.

“No need to be so polite around him,” said Ethan. “As long as you’re in Las Vegas and you need Kent to help, just say so.”

“That’s right, that’s right!” said Kent. “Brothers, if you need anything, just tell me. Your business is the same as Mr. Hunt’s business, and Mr. Hunt’s business is my business!”

He noticed that the wolves were rather dark skinned and thought it was natural. He only found out that they were very sunburnt after asking.

Just after they were done talking, Kent’s phone started ringing.

He looked at the number and frowned.

“What is it?” Kent picked up the call and his expression immediately fell. “You stay on your side and I stay on my side. I don’t think you have anything to do with my matters.”

He glanced at Ethan and pointed to his phone as he mouthed, “Trouble is here.”

Ethan didn’t say anything and just nodded. Kent got the message.

“Fine. If you want to talk, we’ll talk.”

He hung up.

Kent said, “It’s someone from the Ninth District. He said I went over the line because the person we rescued was taken away from a place near the Ninth District and it’s affected them.”
