The Almighty Dragon General Chapter 1719

Chapter 1719

The two simply grabbed a handful of rations and hopped on the raft. Then, Sky began using True Energy to propel the raft forward, all the while carefully steering it in the right direction.

They managed to traverse 100 kilometers in an hour.

After an hour, the sky was already dark.

A gale blew as waves tens of meters in height crashed against the shoreline.

Sky stopped the raft and tied it in place. Then, he turned to look at the island before him, saying, “This should be the place. Based on the map, there’s an abyss here in which the dragon resides. However, this is information from a millennium ago. Things might have changed.”

James scanned his surroundings and said, “This island is huge. Let’s split up and scout around. I will go. this way. Return here by daybreak no matter what we find.”

“I’ll be taking my leave, then.”

Sky did not linger for long and turned to leave. James did not waste any time either.

The two began searching from two different directions.

James maximized his speed and stepped forward. In an instant, he disappeared into the darkness. As he pressed forward, he constantly observed his surroundings.

He headed in the direction of the center region of the island. After approximately twenty minutes, he spotted a mountain and made his up.

Soon, he arrived at the mountain’s summit. Standing on top of the mountain, he marveled at the spectacular scenery below. Even though it was nighttime, the moon was glowing brightly that night.

Then, he spotted an abyss about 200 meters in diameter.

James stood close to the edge of a cliff and glanced downward, murmuring, “This should be Dragon Abyss. I should return for now and have a good night’s sleep. At daybreak, I’ll investigate this place with Sky.”

After thinking, he turned to leave. By the time he returned, Sky was already back.

“How did it go?” Sky asked.

“Mhm.” James nodded and said, “I think I found the place, but I’m not too sure about it. We should find a place to rest for now. At daybreak, we’ll investigate the place together.”

“Alright, then.”

The two left the shore and headed into the island’s interior.

Soon, they reached a jungle. They decided against pressing forward and chose to stay where they are to rest.

James began making a fire, while Sky went hunting. Soon, he returned with an unknown species. The animal’s belly was torn apart, and its intestines were removed.

They sat around the fire and roasted the animal in silence.

“Here you go.”

Sky handed the animal’s leg to James.

James took it and began munching on the meat and Sky followed suit.

While they were eating, Sky suddenly asked, “James, do you have some sort of wish?”

“A wish?” James looked at Sky and contemplated for a moment before saying, “I wish for Sol to be a place of peace and prosperity. Meanwhile, my current objective is to slay the dragon and save Thea’s life. Then, I’ll live a life of seclusion with her for the remainder of our lives. To be honest with you, I really want to find a secluded spot where I can spend the remainder of my life with the woman I love. This island is a pretty good place.”

“What about you?” He looked at Sky.

“Me?” Sky smiled faintly but remained silent. His aspiration was so awe-inspiring that James could be intimidated upon learning about it.

“There’s no one else here.” James wanted to know what Sky was planning to do.

Sky’s expression turned grim as he said, “I want to be the most powerful man in the world. I want the world to obey my every command.”

“That’s it?” James smiled faintly and said, “So what if everyone obeys your every command?”
